Acroyoga Ausbildung 2026

Are you ready to take your passion for Acroyoga to the next level? We are excited to invite you to the 2026 Acroyoga Teacher Training by Be Light!

This transformative training offers you the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of Acroyoga, expand your knowledge, and develop the skills to inspire others on their journey.

What is Acroyoga?

Acroyoga is a practice that combines yoga, partner acrobatics, and therapeutic elements. It merges the mindfulness and knowledge of yoga with the strength, balance, and trust required in acrobatics.

Acroyoga is usually practiced in pairs or groups, often with clearly defined roles: the "Base," the "Flyer," and a "Spotter," who ensures safety.

In addition to the physical challenge, Acroyoga promotes communication, trust, and connection between partners, creating a playful and community-oriented atmosphere.

Who is this training suitable for?

This Acroyoga teacher training is for anyone who wants to teach Acroyoga and plant the seeds for a healthy, sustainable, and fun practice within their community. It is also ideal for yoga teachers looking to gather tools for working with groups and incorporating playful elements into their workshops, retreats, and more.

In this training, you will learn how to teach Acroyoga. We consciously distance ourselves from the "copy-paste" style of teaching that can sometimes be seen in workshops and festivals. Instead, you will gain a deep understanding of the fundamentals of various poses, the principles that allow us to create flows, and how to teach all of this in a safe and playful way.

For this reason, we have chosen a weekend format. This allows you to practice what you’ve learned between modules, participate in jams and classes, and collect questions or uncertainties for the next session. It is the best way to sustainably develop both your personal practice and your teaching skills.

Your teacher: Ingrid Quintana.. and friends!

I started my Acroyoga journey in 2014, and since then, I have never been able to separate my life from Acroyoga. It has given me so many tools—not only for sharing the practice with others but also for life in general.

I completed my first teacher training in 2017 and my second in 2020. In 2021, I founded Be Light to create a safe space where a community could grow, welcoming all kinds of healthy practices—though, of course, the main focus has always been Acroyoga.

Since the beginning, I have been honored to welcome so many acrobats and Acroyogis from different countries, learning from them and sharing great moments together. That is why I am organizing this teacher training and will be your instructor throughout the program. However, we will also have the privilege of welcoming special guests who will share their knowledge with us.

We are still working on bringing together the best guests for special topics like: Movement, Handstands, Icarians, Whips, Standing and some other surprises. Check below! We will be releasing them soon! 👇

Andrés Covelli

Andrés will be supporting us for a module with focus on proper Acro-preparation and Handstands. We will explore with him healthy ways to work on mobility, flexibility, strength and stability. He is the perfect movement-nerd, and you can see that when you look at his practice. You can find him in Insta as @andres.movement.

What do you like the most about the Acroyoga practice?

I love that more important than "me" is the team work and what we can co-create together.

I also love that the practice goes beyond the physical development and we work a lot on interpersonal communication, and on providing a safe environment and comfort to other.

Why is it important to do a Teacher Training?

Doing a teacher training (TT) allows a person to go beyond just performing a trick — it's an opportunity to explore the why behind the practice. It's an invitation to connect not just physically, but deeply with oneself and with others.
At the same time, it provides the tools and knowledge needed to truly understand how to approach the practice and how to teach it to others.

If you ever meet an Alien, what would be the first thing you would tell them?

The best on this planet is coffee, a well done burger and laying in the sun. 🌞🍔☕️

Lorena Castro

Lore has wings. Not only for acro, but also for life. She walks as if she is kissing the earth with her feet, maybe it is because of her background in ballet, maybe because She lives in a beautiful eco-village. I don't know if it's more right to say that she lives in nature, or that nature lives in her. One thing is for sure: she has a super technical eye, and has a deep understanding not only of Acroyoga, Yoga, Thai Massage and TEACHING but also community, important values and interpersonal relationships.

What do you like the most about the Acroyoga practice?

Its fun :) And its a body language, a language of its own. It doesn't matter what your mother tongue is, if you know the basics of AcroYoga you can play with anyone else who also knows the basics.

Why is it important to do a Teacher Training?

Doing a teacher training allows you to learn the deeper, finer elements of the practice. It doesn't matter how many cool tricks you are capable of doing in your personal practice, if at the end of the day your students feel they have to figure out on their own how to get the trick right. A teacher training teaches you how to teach. For me that is learning the detailed mechanics of poses, movements and flows. But it is also learning the tools for properly communicating and bringing across that knowledge. And there is nothing more satisfying than being able to help others reach their potential and unlock new skills.

If you ever meet an Alien, what would be the first thing you would tell them?

I would probably ask them if there are trees where they live. 🌳🌳🌳

Martina Casco

Martu is undoubtedly one of the most versatile flyers you’ll ever meet. Whether it’s flows, Icarians, whips, standing acrobatics, or accordance she will not only be the perfect partner but also will give you the best tips to help you succed—both as a base and as a flyer.

Her teaching experience is extensive and diverse. She has taught at an Acroyoga Teacher Training in Argentina, is part of a Yoga Teacher Training program in Brazil, and also teaches in a Movement Teacher Training in Argentina.

Above all, Martu is passionate about using the practice as a holistic tool for personal growth and community development, inspiring others to grow both individually and collectively.

What do you like the most about the Acroyoga practice?

What I like most about Acroyoga are the communication tools that we get to practice. I love seeing how we create new ways to connect, through play and through the body. The community that forms around Acroyoga classes is something unique and precious, and I would love to spread that everywhere. Acroyoga has allowed me to travel and share for many years, so I feel very fortunate and happy that this time is no different.

Why is it important to do a Teacher Training?

I think it’s important to do a Teacher Training because it’s a way to care for the practice and to learn from others. I’ve always loved studying — all my savings have always gone towards trainings. Beyond being a teacher, my desire is always to grow as a person, to have more tools to make this world a little bit kinder for everyone.

If you ever meet an Alien, what would be the first thing you would tell them?

If one day I meet an alien, I’d invite them to have an ice cream — and after that, maybe some flying would be a great invitation! 🍨🍨🍨

Paulo Carolo

Paulo is one of the most solid bases you will fly on. He will support our "Standing Acrobatics" module. He not only is an experienced and super solid base, he has a lot of experience as a teacher. He normally teaches at an Acroyoga Teacher Training and he organizes the European Acro Festival every year in the Netherlands. Prepare the right questions, because you will learn a crazy lot from him!

What do you like the most about the Acroyoga practice?

I like the unlimited possibilities with all the movement and positions, and the playfulness!

Why is it important to do a Teacher Training?

If you are serious about teaching, receiving these tools is vital to improve your classes, your teaching and your own training, if you think you know it all already, come and be surprised !

If you ever meet an Alien, what would be the first thing you would tell them?

Castaway?? 🐒🐒🐒

Agustina Martin

I *love* Agus, her approach to the practice, the presence in her body. Maybe because it reminds my to my gymnastics times, maybe because she just has that beautiful embodiment when she flies. She will visit the Ausbildung together with Gonza (read below) and they will give us all the wisdom about icarians and whips. Not only to unlock tricks, but also to learn how to teach. They are the best teachers I've seen to welcome *all levels* for these advanced skills.

What do you like the most about the Acroyoga practice?

What I love most about Acro is the connection — with others and with the group we share trainings and gatherings with. That feeling of being in sync, where everyone takes care of each other, we laugh, support one another, and celebrate every individual achievement. It creates a space of trust and joy, where every little progress feels like a collective victory, and that makes it truly special.

Why is it important to do a Teacher Training?

For me, doing a teacher training is essential to gain the pedagogical and technical tools needed to offer a solid, well-structured class. These tools not only help us teach responsibly, but they also open up a wide range of possibilities to explore and discover our own way of sharing the practice. What matters most to me is learning deeply and then connecting that knowledge with each person’s unique essence. From there, a genuine and conscious way of sharing Acro can truly emerge.

If you ever meet an Alien, what would be the first thing you would tell them?

I’d ask what planet they live on… and if they have cats. 😽😽😽

Gonzalo Cano

Gonza is one of the best teachers you will find. He will always help you with the right calibration, with a lot of patience, with a smile in his face. Together with Agus, they founded the "Icarian School" in Argentina, an intensive training to learn everything about Icarians. And they will bring all this information for our Module about Icarians and whips.

What do you like the most about the Acroyoga practice?

What I like the most is the community—the people who come to this practice. Whenever there is a gathering or a jam, I always end up meeting someone new and forming very strong bonds. Many people who practice Acroyoga also love to travel, to move, and to share. I have often made friendships that I later encountered in other countries, and that is beautiful.
I feel that in these spaces, I have felt the freest to be myself, where I could express myself and connect with my body in a deeper way than I had achieved with other disciplines. I also love that Acro takes us to a place of play and enjoyment… it gives us permission to be children again for a while.

Why is it important to do a Teacher Training?

I think that if you like the practice, doing a Teacher Training (TT) is very important—not just if you want to teach, but also for your own journey as a practitioner.
You will share the experience with teachers who have spent years researching and teaching, and who can help you grow much faster.
For me personally, it changed me a lot. There were things I practiced for hours without succeeding… and then a teacher would come, give me one correction, and—boom!—I would get it. Beyond the technical side, it also helped me organize my ideas and start understanding how to convey what I do from a more pedagogical place.
I also feel it helps you find your own strength, to explore your potential more deeply within the practice, and to search for your authenticity.

If you ever meet an Alien, what would be the first thing you would tell them?

I’d ask them if they wanted to fly a castaway with me… haha.
No, just kidding. I think I’d feel like asking them a thousand questions: where they come from, how they live, what they eat, how old they are, what they like to do, what their culture is like… everything! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
